In 2017, Monet Smith created Pretty and Conscious, a small home based company that fuses her love of fashion and cultural knowledge into high-quality custom apparel that speaks to the empowerment of the African American community. Although, it began as a humble business for designing t-shirts, the brand has blossomed into so much more, including athletic clothing and home goods. Pretty and Conscious strives to create customs for the culture.
